    We have requested USPS to send the DOL card of our student (Priority mail 2-day) on April 9th, however, it hasn't reached its destination up to now.     Mailed an important letter Certified Mail from Murrells Inlet SC to Raleigh zip code 27611 on 1-20-15 in the afternoon. Was told it would arrive the next day. It arrived at Raleigh zip code 27676 on the 21st at 3:59 pm. Departed Raleigh zip code 27676 at 7:40 pm on the 22nd presumably en route to its destination (Raleigh zip code 27611). Did not arrive there until 7:03 a.m. January 27th. Took 4-1/2 days (108 hours) to travel from zip code 27676 to zip code 27611. This was a loan payoff with payment through the 26th.   • Complete loss of income

    I live on less than $300/week after child support from unemployment and comp benefits due to a serious work injury. Because of my low income, I moved into a one-room apartment in a small town and opened a PO Box at the local post office. Shortly after moving in, my benefits suddenly stopped and it took two weeks to find out that it was due to failure to respond to mailed documents.     I've stopped receiving my forwarded mail. For the past 2 weeks, I've received ZERO. NO paychecks, no checks, no bills! Nothing!     Bottom line, if you have a package shipped using the usps flat rate mailers, the postal service is not responsible, nor do they care you even receive your package. I had a company deliver a package in January, using this method. The postal carrier said she delivered the package, while I was out of town, and having all mail and packages held at the post office. while we were out of town. After 8 months of correspondence, was told the carrier delivered the package, end of story.     For months, I have been going to the Post office. I run a small busines. The envelope I use is ALWAYS the same. The item is always the SAME: a basketball card. The wieght always the same. And the price has always been the same......$1.39 within the USA. Until now............... now everytime I go to this specif postoffice located in Miami, they try to charge me for the same, envelope, size and item.............$ 1.73 !!   • USPS tracking number (for example) ships packages with USPS and provides a tracking number. This number is never found in the system until the package is delivered. With USPS competitors, the tracking information is actually valuable. Valuable as far as knowing about delays or earlier then expected deliveries-yes they actually beat the estimates sometimes. I request that USPS make the tracking number useful or just call it a confirmation number as it currently serves. More...
